Why this is not just another lifestyle app

Active guidance

From knowing to doing

Almost every health app counts — steps, calories, sleep — and leaves the changing to you. My Lifestyle Platform explains in plain language what works for you, lets members share experiences anonymously and learn from each other, brings everything together in one place and takes you by the hand: it plans your day, encourages new habits and reminds you when you forget something.

The schedule puts meals, supplements, exercise, measurements and sleep in one timeline — and reminds you when something slips.

Tomorrow is already set: everything planned, nothing forgotten.

Never search alone

Searching together works

For seven years our founders' family searched for the answer to a “learn to live with it” diagnosis — with tests, hundreds of scientific papers and their own data. The solution turned out to be a change of food. That search is called citizen science, and we are building it into the platform — so nobody has to do it alone.

“What took our family seven years of manual detective work should take weeks. That is why we are building the platform where nobody searches alone.” — Yung Fu, founder

In the app you find buddies working on the same goal. You share experiences and results anonymously, run small experiments together and cheer each other on. More eyes on the same search — that is what no tracker gives you.

Why lifestyle change works

The world underestimates what lifestyle can do. In published, independent studies lifestyle prevented more new type 2 diabetes than metformin (−58% vs −31%, NEJM 2002), a lifestyle programme reached 46% diabetes remission versus 4% with standard care (Lancet 2018, DiRECT), and heart arteries improved where usual care worsened (Ornish, Lancet 1990). Independent studies — not results of this app. Two Dutch studies up close:

Je Leefstijl Als Medicijn: peer coaching & citizen science — 232 people with type 2 diabetes
BMJ NUTRITION, PREVENTION & HEALTH

Je Leefstijl Als Medicijn: peer coaching & citizen science — 232 people with type 2 diabetes

Participants changed their lifestyle without professional guidance: they were supported by peer coaches — experts by experience from the Je Leefstijl Als Medicijn community — and followed for two years.

  • Weight: −7.3 kg (−8.8%) after one year
  • Waist circumference: −8.7 cm
  • HbA1c (blood sugar): −11.8 mmol/mol — doctors are already pleased with −6
  • Fasting glucose: −0.82 mmol/L
  • Those still reporting after two years had maintained their result

KeerDiabetes2Om — 234 participants, professional coaching with limited guidance

A six-month group programme (groups of 20): a two-day workshop plus follow-up days after 1, 3 and 6 months, around a Mediterranean diet with carbohydrate restriction, cooking courses, exercise and stress management.

  • After two years, 28% no longer use any diabetes medication
  • 71% were able to stop insulin
  • Weight: −7.1 kg · waist: −7.9 cm
  • Self-rated health: 7.3 instead of 6.9 · considerably less fatigue

What these studies show. These results belong to the programmes and the people who took part — and they show how much lifestyle can do when people are well supported. My Lifestyle Platform is built to make that support easier to keep up: daily structure, reminders, knowledge and community, alongside the coaches and programmes people already work with. Always discuss medication and treatment with your doctor.
